Checking Your Spam
Folder
- From the Inbox, click the folder labeled Spam that
appears on the left side of the screen (See Example Below)
- Once
you are in the Spam folder, you can browse through the messages that
appear. If you see a message that
you wish to move into your Inbox, click to “check” the blank box that
appears next to the Address field of the desired message. Note:
Not all of the eMails for the selected
page will necessarily appear on screen.
To view all of the eMails for a particular page, you may have to use
the scroll bar on the right side of the screen
- Once
you have selected all of the eMails you want to
move to your Inbox, scroll down to the bottom of the eMail list to reveal
the Move to Folder drop-down menu.
From this menu, select Inbox to move the selected eMails from the Spam folder to the Inbox
- Once you receive the message that your action was
successfully completed, click Continue to go back to the Spam folder
- If
necessary, click Next to go to the next page of
mail. Note: If you go to the next page of mail before
processing selected (“checked”) eMails on the
previous page, the eMails on the previous page will
become unselected.
- Repeat
steps 1-5 for every page of Spam you look through. Note:
The page indicator will appear at the top and at the bottom of the eMail
listing, and you can navigate through the pages using either set of
buttons

Deleting Items from the Spam Folder
It is not necessary to delete your unwanted eMail from the
Spam folder, since the items will automatically be purged from the Spam folder
after 14 days. However, you may want to
manually purge the Spam folder to make navigating through it easier the next
time you check it for legitimate eMail.
- Once you are sure you have moved all of the eMail you
wish to keep to your Inbox folder, click the Delete All button at the top of
the screen (See Figure 2)
- A
window will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of all the eMail in
the folder. Click OK to confirm, or
Cancel to abort. Note: Once you click OK in the confirmation
window, the action cannot be undone
Selectively Deleting EMail
You are not constrained to delete all or none of your eMails. You can
selectively delete eMails, which you may want to do
from your Inbox. Since there is no
benefit in moving unwanted eMails from the Inbox
folder to the Spam folder, it is faster and easier to just delete unwanted eMails outright.
- For
every message you wish to delete on the first page of eMails,
click to “check” the blank box that appears next to the Address field of
the desired message. Note: Not all of the eMails
for the selected page will necessarily appear on screen. To view all of the eMails for a particular page, you may have to use
the scroll bar on the right side of the screen
- Once
you have selected all of the eMails you want to
delete from your Inbox, click the Delete button (not
the Delete All button) at the top of the screen
- Once you receive the message that your action was
successfully completed, click Continue to go back to the Inbox folder
- If
necessary, click Next to go to the next page of
mail. Note: If you go to the next page of mail
before processing selected (“checked”) eMails on
the previous page, the eMails on the previous page will
become unselected
- Repeat
steps 1-4 for every page of eMail you look through. Note: The page indicator will appear at the top
and at the bottom of the eMail listing, and you can navigate through the
pages using either set of buttons
